Acoustic Guitar CAD

Reverse engineering a physical acoustic guitar into a scale SolidWorks assembly and technical drawing package.

Measurement & modeling

I measured the physical guitar using meter sticks and calipers, modeled four major components, and assembled the completed model in SolidWorks.

Most difficult component

The neck required boss and cut extrudes, fillets, and extensive spline work to reproduce its curved and ergonomic geometry.
